Systems Administrator with Security Clearance
Apex Systems is looking for a Systems Administrator to join a large government client supporting the US Army!Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance, and should have experience with Active Directory Administration, STIGs, and server administration.

$80,000 - $90,000 (flexible depending on experience) Essential Job Duties:
o Effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical issueso Document technical troubleshooting efforts in the ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systemso Ensure server configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulationso Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlineso Follow organizational processes and policieso Willing to work rotations/shift work (24x7)o Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
o Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (Interim required prior to start)o HS +2 or AA/AS or BA/BS years of IT experience at a minimumo Must have IAT II certification (CySA+, Sec
CE, SSCP) or equivalent prior to hireo Must acquire Microsoft server certification, MCP 70-410, 70-411 or higher within 6 months of hireo Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationso Candidate must communicate effectively with team members and team leadMust have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision Preferred
Experience:
o Familiarity with Windows Active Directory serviceso Familiarity with Server 2012 R2 administrationo Familiarity with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) serverso Strong knowledge of client/server hardware and software configurationo Familiarity with networking conceptso Familiarity with creating and/or modifying scripts (batch, PowerShell)o Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)o Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Recommended Skills Adaptability Administration Client Server Models Communication Hyper V Knowledge Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
