Part-Time; TemporaryPosition Summary The Student - Aircraft Service Aide is responsible for providing support to the Aviation Department by performing tasks related to the fueling, washing, and handling of aircrafts in the Aviation Department.
Position is open until filled with applications reviewed upon receipt and may close at any time.
Note:

Within the scope of college policies and procedures, this position:
Assists with planning, organizing and coordinating fuel and oil services and aircraft parking Assists with planning, organizing and coordinating the washing and maintenance of aircrafts Enters data accurately into a software specific and/or aviation specific log Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor General Expectations:

Enrollment at Cochise College with a minimum of 6 credits per semester and 3 credits in the summerPossess and maintain a 2.

A or higherStudents attending Cochise College on an F-1 Visa require full-time enrollment with a minimum of 12 credits per semester and six credits in the summer Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Work is primarily performed under general supervision in an office setting with appropriate climate controls and in a hangar or airplane with varying climate conditions.
May include exposure to mechanical and chemical hazards as well as those associated with aircraft operation and flight.
May require working evenings and weekends.
