Job Description:
As a Lab Supervisor, you will be under the immediate supervision of the Laboratory Manager, and in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, supervises and coordinates laboratory activities.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Maintains confidentiality
- Supervises daily laboratory operations to insure efficiency and timeliness in provision of patient results reporting
- Communicates daily with Laboratory Manager regarding the state of the laboratory, staff, etc.
- Can competently perform all duties assigned to Medical Technologist
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- Must meet CLIA criteria for a high complexity laboratory technical supervisor requirements
- Possess before employment and maintain good standing in a national registry of ASCP (MT) or nationally recognized equivalent
- Maintain valid CPR certification
