Seeking a Software Engineer who is a highly motivated self-starter experienced with working with diverse teams and possesses strong multitasking abilities, superb organization skills, excellent communication skills, and outstanding software development skills, and is extremely detail-oriented.
This is an exciting software engineering/development opportunity for you to work with and support several high profile teams who are developing testing tools used to evaluate Warfighter systems. The position requires close collaboration with software developers and supervisors to design and develop C#.NET components, an aptitude for designing unit-testing scenarios to exercise a .NET Framework application to simulate environmental and code failures, and the ability to develop highly technical software engineering documentation containing requirements decomposition, application/component designs, unit-testing methods and steps, and internal software component documentation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to perform well under pressure on multiple high-priority tasks, and able to deal with changing priorities within tight deadlines. The candidate should be very results oriented, able to follow, process, and analyze assigned tasks to create logically consistent and maintainable programs from general specifications. The candidate should be comfortable working in a small development group to produce quality products, and able to follow assigned tasks through to completion with limited supervision.REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 4
years recent experience (within the last 5 years) as a Software Engineer designing and developing complex applications and/or services using C#.NET and JAVA
Experience applying software architecture design patterns, principles, theories, and concepts
Experience using Configuration Management software (i.e. subversion, MS Team Foundation Server) to setup and maintain software applications
Demonstrated application of object-oriented design principles, theories, and concepts
Demonstrated application of data structure principles, theories, and concepts
Experience using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to create and maintain software design documentation
Experience in graphical user interface development, principles, theories, and concepts
Intermediate Microsoft Office 2010
tool suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
Must have an active interim secret clearance prior to starting work and be able to acquire a secret clearance within 90 days of employment

Demonstrated XML/XSLT expertise
Demonstrated Web (Http) and Windows Services design and development expertise
Experience using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
Experience using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
