TASC is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The candidate will support a wide range of test events and activities in support of the Joint Interoperability Test Command(JITC). Specifically, the candidate will: Plan and perform IA test and evaluation of various vendor products, computer systems, software intensive/driven systems, networking/switching products, mobile devices, and wireless systems following DoD IA requirements. Conduct vulnerability assessments, to include penetration testing, performing vendor product testing . Assist customer with implementing policies and tactics, techniques, and procedures for conducting assessments. Develop IA test plans and reports, collect/analyze data, and provide input to test reports and provide recommendation for IT products to meet the JITC, U.S. Army Approved Product List.Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Implementation Guides (STIG) for multiple operating systems (Windows XP/7/2008, UNIX, Linux Red Hat).
- Possess a sound understanding of various Microsoft and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Candidate must possess strong writing and communications skills to include the ability to develop and render concise reports and summaries.
- Must possess certifications at a minimum that will qualify for Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 (CISSP, Security+, GSEC, SSCP, etc ) per DoD 8570.
- Associates degree and 1 year of experience required, certifications acceptable in lieu of degree.Preferred requirements
- Self motivated with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Analytical with the ability to understand and implement customer objectives.
- Knowledge and experience with general IA Tools to include (Nmap, Nessus, eEye Retina, Metasploit Framework, Burp Suite, and others commonly found on Security Distributions such as Backtrack).
- Knowledge of various programming and scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, Powershell, Bash, etc ).
- Candidate possessing additional certifications such as (GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, GSNA, GCIA, CEH, CISA, etc).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
