For Sale: 1986 Nissan 300ZX in Sierra Vista, Arizona for sale in Sierra Vista, AZ
Vehicle Description SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
This vehicle is SOLD AS-IS with NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES.
The 1986 Nissan 300ZX was one of the first vehicles to use a digital display dashboard, as well as auditory warning messages (e.
g.
, Lights are on).
This car is also unique in that it has a back seat, suitable for small children and/or pets.
The driver seat firmness is adjustable via air bladders.
My Mother purchased this car (new) in Cleveland in 1986.
She had it rust-proofed, which is why you may notice some brown within the engine compartment and along the edges of the floorboards.
Shortly after purchase, my Mother moved to Mexico, then Arizona.
With only 22,400 miles, I took possession of the car in 2008.
Having baked in the Arizona sun for 15
years, I replaced major systems, hoses and wiring, windows, T-Tops, and Burgundy leather interior.
I had the car painted as well.
Twelve years later the car has only 71,580 miles; and looks good and drives very good considering its age.
As one would expect, a 34-year-old vehicle will have blemishes, and some inoperable parts.
While most of the components are functional, I believe the rear window defroster and cruise control are non-operational.
The heater and A/C work, but I believe the heater box may be cracked, resulting in minor clicking noise when engaged.
This is an old car with many plastic parts, some of which are no longer available.
That said, I believe it is in good to very-good condition considering.
I have one extra set of T-Tops and some miscelaneous spare parts.
I also have a new custom-made car cover.
